Terms of Use and Confidentiality
1. Public vehicle lookup
- The lookup is only for owners and their representatives to find out about their own vehicle.
- Information shown is a guide. The final amount and papers are checked at the yard / ward office.
- Do not use automatic tools, scripts or bulk searches. Lookups are limited and misuse is blocked and recorded.
2. Team app — who may use it
- Only registered project staff and authorised MCGM / police officers, each with their own login.
- Your PIN is personal. Never share it or let anyone else use your login. Tell the admin at once if you think someone knows it.
- Use only the pages and actions your role allows. Every sign-in and action is recorded with your name and time.
3. Strict confidentiality — no leakage
Everything in the team app is confidential. This includes vehicle and owner details, photos, locations, police information, staff KYC, money and reports.
- Do not share, copy, forward, screenshot, photograph, print for others, post on WhatsApp / social media, or send outside the system any of this information.
- Use the information only for this project and only while you are on it. The duty continues after you leave.
- Downloads and printouts are for official use only and must be kept safe and destroyed when no longer needed.
- Report any leak, lost phone or suspected misuse to the admin immediately.
Breaking these rules can lead to removal from the project, recovery of losses and action under the law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).
4. Field work
- Take photos and GPS only at the real spot, at the real time. Do not edit or fake photos, locations or times.
- Attendance selfies and GPS must be your own and taken on duty.
5. Records and law
The work follows the MMC Act, 1888 and BMC rules for the tender 2024_MCGM_1111757_1 (LOA No. Dy.Ch.Eng/MC-075/Traffic dated 13.05.2025). Records may be shared with MCGM, the police and courts when required.
6. Privacy
How personal data is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy.
7. Ownership of the software and licence
The software of this portal and of the team app — AVIDS, the Abandoned Vehicles Identification, Detention & Scrapping System — with its design, code, documents, templates and content, is the copyright and intellectual property of Crescendo Innovative Solutions LLP; AVIDS is its brand name. It is licensed to M/s. Raza Steel for the MCGM East Zone tender (Tender ID 2024_MCGM_1111757_1) for the duration and purpose of that work. Copying, reverse engineering, reselling or reusing it, or any part of it, without the written permission of Crescendo Innovative Solutions LLP is not allowed. The data of the work belongs to the work as set out in the tender.
8. Changes
These terms may change. The version date is shown above; staff accept each new version when they next sign in.
